About Secedi Homes

Secedi Homes was created by Dan and Jen Secedi in 2021 when they decided to join forces, creating a husband and wife team and making real estate the family business.  With Dan's more than a decade of experience as a real estate broker, and Jen’s fresh outlook, this team possesses all the qualities needed to provide clients with an outstanding level of service. Jen and Dan have different strengths that streamline the buying and selling process for their clients. Their balance of patience and persistence combined with local real estate expertise create a compelling value package for their clients.

Dan Secedi - Broker

Selling real estate since 2014, Dan has established himself as a prominent expert in the northwest suburban residential market.  His persistent attitude, analytical mind, and patient approach make him easy to work with.  After working with the largest two brokerages in the Chicago area over the last 12 years, Dan realized flexibility and truly being able to do what is best for his clients matters the most, and he is proud to have found that with Northwest Suburban Real Estate.

Dan earned his bachelor's degree at Purdue University in Aviation Management.  He is a pilot, youth coach and sports enthusiast.  Born and raised in Palatine, he is extremely familiar with numerous suburban municipalities, specific neighborhoods, schools, and surrounding towns.  Dan currently resides in Cary with his wife Jennifer, and their family.

Jen Secedi - Broker

Since acquiring her license in 2021, Jen has taken her role of broker to new levels.  Jen takes pride in being a relational broker, as opposed to transactional, and provides understanding, commitment, and patience with both buyers and sellers.  Combining her knowledge of the local market with her drive and determination, Jen gives every client the level of time, care, and consideration they deserve.

Before becoming a realtor, Jen was a 3rd grade teacher in Palatine for 13 years. She received her undergraduate degree from Eastern Illinois University before completing her Masters in Education. She grew up in the northwest suburbs, and lives in Cary with her husband and two children.
